Miss Jess was honored to be invited back to her alma mater, the University of Iowa, to celebrate the dedication of its beautiful new Dance Building and the 50th anniversary of the Bachelor of Arts in Dance program!

It was so special to return to the place where so much of her dance journey began and see the incredible new space that will inspire future generations of dancers.

An added bonus was running into two Prestige alumni while she was there! Such a full-circle moment to see dancers who once walked through the doors of Prestige now continuing their own dance journeys at Iowa.

Meet Miss Vicki! ✨

Even though Miss Vicki’s own children are grown, she loves the dance studio atmosphere far too much to step away! Raised by a ballet-loving mother, Vicki has appreciated all forms of dance throughout her life and especially loved being a dance mom to her daughters. 🩷

She has had plenty of fun experiences throughout her life, including one of her most memorable roles as a green bean on the Paramount stage! Today, she is so happy to continue being part of the studio environment at Prestige and helping make sure our dancers and families feel comfortable, prepared, and taken care of. ✨

Whether it’s getting a dancer ready for class, helping behind the scenes, preparing for recital, or lending a hand wherever she can, Miss Vicki is always ready to help!

We’re so lucky to have Miss Vicki as part of the Prestige family and are so thankful for everything she does to help make our studio such a special place! 🩵

📣Good news for all Hocus Pocus fans! We have a Hocus Pocus-themed Musical Theatre Camp coming up on Saturday, October 24th from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM for ages 6–12! 🧙♀️

Campers will spend the morning singing, acting, and dancing alongside their favorite witches. This camp is the perfect way to celebrate the season and refine your musical theater skills! Cost: $27 + tax.

Season after season, we get to watch students grow, friendships form, confidence build, and our community continue to grow right alongside them.

Prestige has never been just about what happens in the studio. It’s about the people, the memories, the relationships and all of the little moments that make this place feel like home.

We’re so grateful for every student, family and teacher who has helped make Prestige what it is today.

And after 14 seasons, we’re just getting started. We have so much more ahead, and we can’t wait to keep creating, growing and dancing together. 🩵

Meet Miss Emma! ✨

Miss Emma has been dancing since she was just 3 years old and has been hooked ever since! After growing up in the studio and spending two years on the Mount Mercy University Dance Team, she now loves getting to share that same excitement and love for dance with the next generation. 🩷

At Prestige, Emma brings a fun and energetic teaching style to the classroom while focusing on strong technique, confidence, and helping each dancer grow! She especially loves working with young dancers and creating a space where kids feel comfortable being themselves, trying new things, and celebrating their progress. ✨

Outside of Prestige, Emma is the Assistant Varsity Dance Coach at Prairie High School, where she continues to grow her experience in technique, performance, and coaching. She is also a marketing professional, putting her creativity to work through social media, branding, content creation, and digital marketing for local businesses!

When she’s not teaching, coaching, choreographing, or creating something new, Emma is usually spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, or watching Grey's Anatomy.

We’re so lucky to have Miss Emma as part of the Prestige family and can’t wait for another amazing year with her! 💙

✨ ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT ✨

Office staff member Miss Steph and 2026 Prestige alum Kate met up with fellow 2026 alum Olivia at the Iowa State football game in Ames this past weekend! We love when our alumni get to reunite!

Olivia is currently continuing her love of dance as a member of the Iowa State Dance Team, and we are incredibly proud of her dancing at the next level! ❤️💛

Once a part of the Prestige family, always a part of the Prestige family! We’re so proud of our alumni and love seeing where life takes them after their time at the studio!🩵
