We're sorry to report that the concession stand is... not making concessions at the moment.

The service counters have officially been removed as construction continues at South PAC. While it may be a little harder to order popcorn at the moment, exciting changes are underway as part of the renovation project.

Don't worry—the snacks will be back. Until then, we're focused on building an even better experience for our patrons and community.

Construction is continuing at South PAC, and one of the most recognizable backstage spaces is getting a complete makeover of its own. While it may not be ready for its close-up just yet, exciting changes are on the way.

For our next trick, we're going to make several hundred seats disappear.

Before anyone asks, yes—this was intentional.

Construction is officially underway at South PAC, and one of the most noticeable changes so far is the complete removal of the auditorium seating. While the room looks a little different these days, we're making great progress and getting one step closer to an exciting new chapter for South PAC.

Tonight, the spotlight shines on Broadway and the Tony Awards—but every Broadway star had a first stage, a first costume mishap, and probably a first missed cue. 🎭✨

As we celebrate theatre's biggest night, we're also cheering for the theatre teachers, students, troupes, and school programs where so many unforgettable journeys begin.

To every Thespian watching tonight: keep creating, keep learning, keep taking the stage (even when the prop table is organized chaos), and keep telling stories that move people. The next generation of theatre isn't waiting in the wings—it's already in rehearsal.

One last look at the South PAC “clouds” before they head off to the great backstage in the sky ☁️🎭

Over the years, cast, crew, directors, techs, volunteers, and probably a few people who were just “helping for a minute” left their mark by signing their names in the dust. Some signatures are legendary. Some are…questionable handwriting at best. 😂

As we get ready for a brand new orchestra shell in the renovation, we wanted to share one final tribute to the dusty masterpiece that silently survived countless rehearsals, standing ovations, missed cues, and at least 47 reminders to “watch the curtain.”

Thanks for the memories, the music, and the dust. 💙

🚧✨ The glow-up has officially begun. ✨🚧

Renovation work at the South PAC is now underway! Over the next several months, the PAC will be getting some exciting upgrades — including updated lighting and sound systems, new seating, fresh carpet, lobby improvements, restroom updates, and more.

Basically… the PAC is headed into its renovation era. 💅🎭

Construction will continue through November, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for the very first performance in the updated space: the CPHS Dance Winter Show during the first week of December.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share the transformation with our South PAC community. Stay tuned for updates along the way!

☀️🎭 That’s a wrap on another school year at South PAC!

To all of our students, staff, performers, tech crews, directors, and audiences: thank you for making this year unforgettable. Now it’s time to trade rehearsals, homework, and alarm clocks for sunshine, sleep, and questionable amounts of popsicles. 😎

We hope everyone has an amazing Summer Break filled with rest, fun, and absolutely zero “Can you stay after school for just one more thing?” emails.

And to our South PAC Interns specifically… we watched you juggle classes, events, deadlines, meetings, and enough coffee to legally qualify as a personality trait. Somehow, you still made it to graduation.

We’re proud of all of our graduates and grateful for the hard work, creativity, and energy you brought to South PAC along the way.

Now go enjoy that diploma, update your bios, and confidently answer “yes” when people ask if you know what you’re doing. 🎉

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This Memorial Day, the South PAC Crew are grateful for the sacrifices made by so many and for the freedoms those sacrifices protect. We hope everyone takes a moment today to reflect, remember, and spend time with the people who matter most. 🇺🇸
