Ammonites the size of tractor tyres, you say? And yes, it’s real.

This fossil was found near Fernie in British Columbia, Canada. It is from the Late Jurassic and is around 150 million years old.

I've been to British Columbia for fieldwork several times, but still not had the chance to make the trip to see this beast. One day!
