🏁 SUNDAY SHOWDOWN #2 – RACE RECAP! 🏁

Another Sunday of oval racing is in the books at Brick Lane Speedway!

We had 11 drivers making up 18 entries across five classes today, with plenty of laps turned on the CRC black carpet! With two rounds of qualifying followed by the mains, everyone had their opportunity to get their cars dialed in and battle for the top spots!

🔥 A FEW HIGHLIGHTS FROM TODAY!

Stock FTC saw a close finish at the front, with Matt Steffenhagon and Matt Zaccardo both completing 67 laps, separated by just 1.22 seconds at the finish!

Pro NASCAR also featured a tight battle for the podium, with Jeff Carapellatti and Mike Fleming both finishing with 55 laps and separated by just 0.13 seconds!

🏁 SUNDAY SCHEDULE UPDATE — BRICK-LANE SPEEDWAY 🏁

This Sunday was originally scheduled for HackFab Frenzy. After reaching out and seeing limited interest this early in the season, I’ve decided to switch things up and run our regular Sunday Showdown schedule!

Have a foam tire EDM, HackFab Midget, Sprint, or another HackFab class besides Late Model you’d like to run? Bring the interest and we’ll make it happen—three or more racers makes a class!

Comment below with what you’re planning to race so we can get everyone lined up.

🏁 THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER – WEEK #6 RECAP! 🏁

Another Thursday night of oval racing is in the books at Brick Lane Speedway!

We had 17 drivers making 27 entries across four classes, with some great racing throughout the night. Losi NASCAR once again brought the biggest field, requiring three mains, while the other divisions put on some great racing of their own!

The Losi NASCAR A-Main gave us one of the closest finishes of the night! Steve Campbell held off Glen Borton by just 0.630 seconds after 60 laps, with Mike Fleming rounding out the podium. With 13 entries, this class continues to bring strong participation!

🥉 Steve Campbell

Another close battle in the SK Lite division, with all three podium finishers completing 60 laps! Matt Zaccardo took the win, finishing 1.77 seconds ahead of Josh Gallaway, with Steve Campbell just 0.62 seconds behind Josh.

TJ Bradley put together a dominant performance, completing all 75 laps and taking the win by five laps over Steve Campbell. Matt Zaccardo rounded out the podium in third.

Josh Gallaway led the way in the 50-lap Legends feature, taking the victory by two laps over Nick Fuchs. Regan Edwards finished just 2.83 seconds behind Fuchs to complete the podium.

A Reminder to All Racers and Spectators at Brick Lane Speedway

Following an incident during last night's racing, we'd like to remind everyone of a few important rules regarding conduct at the track.

We understand that racing is competitive, contact happens, and emotions can sometimes run high. However, arguments, yelling, foul language, and confrontations have no place on the driver's stand or anywhere in our facility.

As stated in our track rules, any issues or disagreements should be brought directly to track management or the race director, not argued between competitors.

We also want to make something very clear regarding spectators and others not participating in a race. While it should go without saying, spectators and individuals not involved in the race have no business making comments toward drivers that could provoke or escalate a situation.

Going forward, there will be ZERO TOLERANCE for spectators instigating arguments, making confrontational comments toward drivers, or involving themselves in on-track disputes. Anyone engaging in this behavior will be asked to leave the facility.

Brick Lane Speedway is a family-friendly facility, and we expect everyone—racers, crew members, and spectators alike—to conduct themselves respectfully.

We're all here for the same reason: to enjoy RC racing, have fun, and compete. Let's keep it that way.
