Simmer pots have quickly become my favorite way to make my house smell like I have something yummy in the oven without having to actually bake, and when I want to stop torturing myself with herbs and spices that smell like cookies and pies I throw some spring smells in the pot! Lavender and rosebuds hit those floral notes and the grapefruits and lemon complement the flowers so perfectly.
