Galaxy Cinema Galaxy Cinema was the best movie theater ever. For reals. We miss you all so very much.

For eight years, Galaxy Cinema was THE community gathering place to take in the best independent, documentary, and international films available. Sadly, the theater closed in November 2012 and was torn down to be replaced by a Harris Teeter shopping center. The staff and owners of the Galaxy thank our patrons for many years of true community and wonderful experiences.
