Wow! I cannot believe it is 2025. I've been a market runner for 10 years! It has truly been the best job I have ever had. I've met the most talented, creative, and best people through my work. It has truly been a pleasure. But all good things come to an end. Art-n-Soul is now closing. I am moving on to a new chapter, but not before I say a heartfelt, Thank You 🙏.
I chose to be a market runner for a few reasons, none of which were for the money. I love art, shopping local and organizing events. My passion has always been supporting local companies, vendors and artisans. The creative community has been wonderful to me and it has been a rewarding journey to see amazing people make a living at what they love.
I ask you to continue to support local small businesses. They are the HeArt-n-Soul of our community. When they thrive, we all do. When you shop with local vendors and eat at local restaurants and food trucks, you are helping to make our local community stronger. (F--k Amazoo).
I will be moving on as the Director of Marketing and Events at Mystic Farm and Distillery in Durham. Please follow them. They are a local bourbon distillery that proves you can be successful with a sustainable business model and be awarded for hard work. I will be there planning new events so come on out and visit!
Lastly, I wanted to thank my assistant Drew who is not only a HUGE help, but a good friend and truly fantastic person. Drew, you are amazing!
