This pumpkin is the original one that I painted about 12 years ago. Since then I have been commissioned to paint more. It is one of my fall favorites. Painted on a 16 x 20 in acrylics. Not for sale.

I was learning how to paint this reverse style painting. I copied another artist, but I think it made her mad! Her painting was much larger and colorful. I just painted a portion of it, only to learn how to! Anyway, it is a fun, folksy style just to do something different! I use it in my home during the fall. It’s not for sale, it’s was just a study!

This is my version of Van Gogh’s Iris painting in acrylic on a 11 x 14 canvas. Van Gogh painted in oil in a thick impasto style. His had a lot of great texture. Mine is very flat in comparison, no texture at all. This was a challenge to see if it even looked somewhat similar!
