The Nicholas County High School Band is rich in history and pride! Join in our fun and like our page!

The Nicholas County Band Program is part of the Department of Art & Humanities at Nicholas County Schools, located in Carlisle Kentucky. Our Band Program offers curricular and extra-curricular ensembles to provide students with a quality music education. Our goal is to extend to our students opportunities to be responsible, productive, self-sufficient learners within their community. The Nicholas County Band Program has a long history of achievement and continues the tradition of success.

A special thanks to the Nicholas County Public Library for their generous donation of lunch for our Friday Band Camp meal! We’re celebrating a week of hard work and PERFECT ATTENDANCE!

We’re excited to officially announce that Mrs. Nadine Hale will be our new Band Director at Nicholas County Middle/High School! Mrs. Hale brings to the position a wealth of knowledge and experience, and our students are already enjoying learning from her. We know that her tenure here will continue the tradition of excellence for our NCMHS Band.

Dear NCHS Band Students and Families,
I want to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation for your patience, flexibility, and understanding regarding the upcoming Nicholas County High School Band Camp. We understand that families make plans and arrangements around scheduled events, and we recognize that a change to the camp schedule may create an inconvenience for students, parents, and staff.
After careful consideration, it has been determined that the Nicholas County High School Band Camp, originally scheduled for July 13–July 24, will be postponed and rescheduled for July 20–July 31. While we understand this adjustment may impact schedules, this decision was necessary to ensure we are able to provide our students with the best possible camp experience and the preparation they deserve.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to support the success of our band program and, most importantly, our students. The dedication, commitment, and hard work of our band members are truly valued, and we are excited for the opportunities this camp will provide as we prepare for another outstanding year.
Additional information regarding schedules, expectations, and any other details will be communicated by the Nicholas County High School Assistant Band Director in the coming days. Please continue to monitor those communications for updates.
We look forward to a great and rewarding band camp experience with all members of the Nicholas County High School Band. Thank you again for your flexibility, support, and commitment to our students and our music program.
