Several suspicious televisions were investigated.

No threats detected.

Management subsequently clocked out and watched hockey.

🧟 ZOMBIE MONTH — DEAD RISING

📍 WILLAMETTE, COLORADO

Zombie Month has officially taken us out of Texas.

Reports of an outbreak have brought us to Willamette Parkview Mall, where photojournalist Frank West has 72 hours to figure out what the hell happened.

Management was notified.

Plato has dispatched Frank West to investigate, after declining to make the trip himself:

“Naw, I’m good. It’s nap time, plus …. Who else is gonna rock this DJ Booth!”

So Frank is on his own.

Fortunately, the mall has everything he needs.

Baseball bats. Chainsaws. Shopping carts.
And apparently, bright pink toy swords.

Grab whatever isn’t nailed down.
Try not to get eaten.

Dead Rising is exactly our kind of zombie game — hordes everywhere, ridiculous weapons, complete chaos, and the freedom to deal with most problems using whatever happens to be within reach.

And because this is Cat Scratch Bar Gaming, we turned down the soundtrack and brought our own.

DJ PLATO PRESENTS: ZOMBIE MONTH — OCTOBER 2026

The CSBG team has been scavenging Central Texas for the right lineup of zombie games, cat treats , cat treats and cat treats. And we’ve finally got a stack ready to roll.

And apparently word is getting around.

We’ve already had fellow Scratchers sending us zombie game recommendations — including a couple we don’t own yet — so it looks like the scavenging isn’t over.

The first playlist is already under construction and in rehearsals with our resident brawler, DJ Plato. But if you’ve got something that belongs in there, send it our way!

We’ll play them. We’ll test them. The ones that work make the set.

Eight years after the last Social Distortion album featuring Dennis Danell, who passed away in February 2000, the band regrouped to release 'S*x, Love and Rock 'n' Roll', their sixth studio album.

In the interim between albums, Mike Ness launched a solo career, releasing two records. When the time came to enter the studio to record new material with the band, Jonny "2 Bags" Wickersham joined on guitar. In August 2004, one month before the album's release, bassist John Maurer announced his departure from the band "in order to stay home and devote time to his wife and two children". Matt Freeman of Rancid stepped in as his replacement for the supporting tour, only to be replaced a few months later by Brent Harding, the bassist from Ness's solo project.
