Come visit us at booth #408 at AAM and I’ll tell you all about my rescue pup. His name is Chance — as in “Second Chance.”
Recently, BPI was working with the wonderful team at on a fun multi-screen visitor center experience for the Auburn-Opelika Visitor Center. One of the storylines followed a family and their golden retriever through local events, festivals, and community moments around the area.
While we were filming at a fall festival, there happened to be a dog adoption event going on nearby. And, well… you can probably guess what happened next. That’s how Chance came home with me.
We filmed a lot of fascinating local stories on that project, working with great regional talent and capturing the warmth of a place that clearly loves its community. At BPI, we get to tell stories for a living — stories about places, people, history, science, culture, and connection.
Every now and then, one of those stories gives something back . . .this one gave me Chance.
See you all at in Philadelphia. Stop by booth #408 and say hello.

We all know museums and special venues are facing a changing world: new audiences, tighter budgets, aging technology, and fierce competition for people’s time.

BPI helps you meet those challenges with immersive storytelling, thoughtful media design, and technical systems that make visitor experiences more powerful, flexible, and sustainable.

Come by Booth #408 and let’s talk about how we can help bring more visitors - and more wonder - through your doors.

Visitors are at the heart of everything we do.

The new Museum of Discovery and Innovation (MoDI) in Canton, MA www.paulreveremuseum.org/modi invites visitors—especially young innovators—to “Think Like Revere.” Located at the Paul Revere Heritage Site, the museum blends RFID ticketing, immersive media, hands-on design challenges, and experiential storytelling to explore entrepreneurship, creativity, and technology.

Working with exhibit designer EXP Studios, www.experiencedesignstudios.com, BPI developed and produced interactive and immersive media, storytelling documentary films, and RFID digital systems that encourage guests to invent, build, and share their ideas.
And if you’re attending Building Museums in Baltimore this week, BPI’s Roger Brown would love to connect, [email protected]. If you have 15 minutes between sessions, let’s grab coffee and
compare notes on what you’re building next.

🏁 The Race to Opening Day! 🏁

Just 14 months ago, BPI teamed up with Balance Studios and GeoMedia to help create the all-new Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum — and we crossed the finish line on time!

✅ 20+ interactives
✅ Massive LED and projection-mapped experiences
✅ 50+ terabytes of original race footage
✅ Thousands of images and pages of stories

From filming the Indy 500 with 7 crews to building two signature immersive shows — The Starting Line Experience and In the Race — this was a true team effort, built on trust, hustle, and heart.

Huge thanks to Balance Studios, GeoMedia, and everyone who helped make it happen.
The museum has opened to rave reviews — and it’s just getting started. 🏎️✨

What a week at TAM in Austin! 🙌

Our session on telling tough stories to young audiences—presented with our amazing partners , ECI, and the —was packed wall to wall! Huge shoutout to David Shields, Chris Frison, and Aaron Scarleta for dropping some serious wisdom on designing for all ages.

AND—we’re beyond proud that The Rescue won Bronze for In-Museum Experiences! 🏅

This immersive show tells the real story of 8-year-old Berna Real, a Filipino-American refugee during WWII—and it’s been resonating deeply with visitors of all generations. The Pacific War Museum is doing incredible work rethinking what a military history museum can be. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who came out, and congrats to all the TAM award winners! 🎉

BPI had the privilege of collaborating with a Native advisory committee and tribal members from descendant nations to bring the story of Angel Mounds to life. At the Indiana State Museum’s Angel Mounds State Historic Site in Evansville, IN. we helped create “Power of the Mounds”, a five-screen immersive film that amplifies the voices of the Quapaw, Miami, Osage, and Shawnee. These storytellers share how their cultures remain deeply connected to this sacred site, first occupied over 1,300 years ago.

And now, for the second time in three years, BPI—alongside writer and BPI Executive Producer Candy Moulton—has been honored with the Spur Award for Best Western Documentary Script from the Western Writers of America. This recognition highlights our team’s commitment to authentic storytelling and immersive media that deepen understanding and inspire visitors of all ages.
