Brave Woman, also known as Buffalo Calf Road Woman, was a courageous Northern Cheyenne woman born around 1844 and died in 1879. She played a pivotal role in the Battle of the Rosebud in June 1876, where she rescued her wounded brother, Chief Comes in Sight. Her selfless act helped inspire the Cheyenne warriors, leading to their eventual victory. Just nine days later, she fought alongside her husband in the Battle of the Little Bighorn. It was not until 2005 that Northern Cheyenne storytellers broke the silence of more than a century about the battle, crediting Buffalo Calf Road Woman with the decisive blow that brought down Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer from his horse before he met his death.

Hey all,
I am looking for a legal wall in Seattle and Yakima to do some large murals under the theme of voter restoration for felons in Washington state. We live in a state that allows all citizens to vote as soon as they are out of jail regardless of having any felonies.
Voting is important for all of the reasons and has huge impacts on local and regional issues. This is part of a larger state wide campaign to educate the public about citizens rights.

All expenses will be covered at no cost to the building owner.
PM me for info.

“I use black and white images splashed with color through modern Native American interpretations. Shining light on traditional teachings through contemporary images, I create a unique way to connect the past and future. I focus on conveying energy without explanation through visual images focusing on humanistic values that unify humanity. Joining society by transcending language through art. “
