A small but mighty group sang in downtown Newton today for the Foothills Folk Art Festival, and then on to the Shuford House in Hickory to sing for the Hickory Landmarks Society's Mother's Day Luncheon!

We’re back from an incredible long weekend at the Sweet Adelines Region 14 Convention & Competition in Concord NC—and wow, what a ride! 🎶✨
Now it’s time to bring that energy right back to the risers after our week off. We’ve got some exciting gigs coming up, so let’s show up ready to ring and make some magic together! 💜

FEEL THE LOVE and ENERGY!

At our final rehearsal before contest this weekend, the chorus took a few minutes last night to appreciate each other and express how we feel about our riser buddies. It was literally "a compliment tree". Here is a small sample of the comments:

Emily - A ray of sunshine and gratitude! Positive energy coming from behind me!
Amanda - Is always involved and has a positive presence that affects others in the best way!
Gailyn - I catch her in the corner of my eye, and her energy, expression, and encouragement help me emote and bring joy!
Amanda H - Cares so deeply for everyone and gives great hugs!

Carolina Style Chorus!

A ca****la, 4-part harmony in the barbershop style. We are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, founded in 1946, which now boasts tens of thousands of women in choruses and quartets, worldwide.

Tonight (Apr 14) is our last practice before regionals...so EXCITING!!!

Be on the risers in place and ready to warm up at 6:30 sharp. Let's listen, focus, blend and have a great time making those chords RING!
