Connect the Lots - Camden Connect the Lots is an initiative to bring cultural & recreational activities to vacant lots & underused parks to create safe civic spaces in Camden.

Connect the Lots, funded by The Kresge Foundation, is a community led initiative to implement placeamking activities in vacant lots and underused parks in the North Camden and Cooper-Grant neighborhoods in Camden, NJ. The project seeks to create temporary, high-quality, safe outdoor spaces that are consistently programed with local cultural and recreational activities. By enhancing and reenergizin

g physical connections between these two communities and other parts of the city, Connect the Lots seeks to break down barriers that currently isolate communites and discourage residents, employees and visitors from interacting and spending time outside in Camden. Connect the Lots focuses on implementing creative day-to-night programing in the vacant and underutilized parks and spaces. The purpose of this page is to act as a platform to list and discuss important cultural, arts, recreational, and other community events in Camden and a way stay or get involved.
