Central on Air is a space to convey who you are through the art of DJ’ing — everyone brings a different style, energy & feel to their sets. Our residents touch upon a variety of genres from across the globe and give us a look into the sounds that make up their internal rhythm. Whether you’re looking for new music or tuning into a familiar face, COA has something for everyone. Tap in Monday through Friday (5-9pm) & Saturdays (12-4pm) to find your new favorite DJ — opportunites for 27/28 residents will go live in the new year 📆

Lola Vera is a Boston-based, born & raised Nuyorican DJ who got her start creating the kind of nightlife she felt was missing in her neighborhood. She co-created Stone Soup, a series of open-decks parties for DJs, and collaborated with the neighborhood’s Substation venue on an inclusive, community minded dance party series called, the Club Station, as well as being a resident dj for their listening lounge series.She currently plays across genres and formats, but has a soft spot for vinyl, and 90s sounds like jazzy house, trip-hop, hip-hop, R&B, and jungle. Her Nuyorican roots also run through her sets, which frequently lean Latin-forward, with salsa at the center alongside reggaeton, latin-soul/disco/house, freestyle, and unexpected detours. Lola is also a regular DJ with the Earlybirds Club in various cities in the Northeast.

my name is emmet is historian living in Cambridge. He bought his first record, a Trinidadian disco 12 inch from a group called Kalyan, at Cheapo Records. Since then he has delved deep into collecting + DJing vinyl records when he is not researching industrial history or teaching History & Literature at Harvard.

anu is a DC and Boston based DJ known for his punishing Techno and Tech House sets. He got his start in DJing during a year abroad in London, experiencing the style of music which he wants to bring to the United States. His goal is to give people a refuge from the world in the form of music.

Angel Javier Camilo is a first-generation Dominican-American artist whose music embodies resilience and artistic exploration. As a bilingual singer-songwriter/producer, and band leader of the “La Diáspora Combo” Angel blends the sounds of his upbringing, with mellow grooves, and melting guitar tones, inspired by his Dominican heritage. By the end of 2025, Angel will release his second EP, “Analog EP Vol. 2,” followed by his first fully Spanish-language project “Tímido-Pop,”, blending Afro-Latin influences with contemporary sounds.

Since then, she has brought her sound to venues such as Headroom Hi-Fi Lounge, Remnant Satellite: Events & Live Music!, and Bow Market. SYR 🇵🇷 (SYR) is a multidisciplinary movement artist, DJ, and organizer whose creative practice is deeply informed by culture, community, and collective experience. Rooted in club and techno, her sound is bass-heavy, high-energy, and genre-blending weaving together rhythms that compel the body to move. She is the founder of Sacred Space, an initiative exploring the intersections of dance performance and electronic music through intentionally curated events and immersive experiences. As a creative and community builder, SYR also hosts and curates parties for BRATCITY and is a resident DJ at Central on Air and 𝕮𝖝𝖓𝖉𝖊𝖑𝖆, dedicated to serving underground electronic music culture.
