Our final graduated senior, and former Mr. Vice President, is Kevin!

Kevin graduated with highest honors in English and Economics and a language citation in Mandarin Chinese. Across his time at Harvard, Kevin explored how economic decisions shape public policy and the communities they affect. With Harvard’s Economics Department, he conducted research on peacekeeping and on-the-ground war conflict. He also translated his research interests into government policy work, focused on strategies for reducing IT-sector carbon emissions. On campus, he was a member of the English Department’s Student Advisory Council, the Harvard Advocate, and the Signet Society, among others.

Kevin’s senior thesis, a collection of poems entitled This Long Green, was awarded the Le Baron Russell Briggs Honors Thesis Prize, with individual works earning the Edward Eager Memorial Fund Prize and the Academy of American Poets Prize. This summer, Kevin spent time visiting historic sites across China, mentoring students in English Literature, and preparing his poetry for publication (keep an eye on Academy of American Poets). Next up: he’ll be bringing his curiosity to L.E.K. Consulting in New York, where he is joining the associate program!

Our fourth graduated senior is the veri-talented Eleni, whose rendition of “Tennessee Whiskey” is the one of the Veritones’ most popular covers of all time, garnering over 2.1 million views on YouTube!

Eleni graduated with honors in History and Literature and Psychology. Aside from singing with her friends in the Veritones, she spent her time at Harvard working at the intersection of child development and education. Highlights included working on the Literacy Team at the Massachusetts Department of Education, where she worked on policy and curriculum related to reading instruction for early elementary classrooms. Eleni was also a researcher across various developmental and educational psychology labs, where she studied children’s learning and cognition! She taught as a teaching assistant for courses on children’s literature and the psychology of music, bringing her love for education to the university setting. This summer, she has continued her work as a team member at Day of AI, an MIT-based nonprofit focused on bringing AI literacy to global classrooms. In the Fall, she will begin a year-long MSc in Comparative and International Education at the University of Oxford!

Our next graduated senior — and former Music Director — was likely responsible for at least one of your favorite Veritones arrangements, even earning nods from the Contemporary A Ca****la Recording Awards (CARA) for his work in the group.

Brady graduated with highest honors in English, a secondary in Music, and studied piano performance as a member of the Harvard-Berklee Joint Studies Program. While at Harvard, Brady was a member of the Signet Society and a vocal music director for Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club. He also performed with Harvard VoxJazz, Harvard’s premiere vocal jazz ensemble. Brady’s senior thesis, entitled ACTS — Poems, Essays, Tales, earned him the Hoopes Prize for Excellent Undergraduate Work. This summer, Brady spent his time orchestrating showtunes for The Festival (thebroadwayfest), traveling Asia and Oceania, going to concerts, and showing his college friends around his hometown in Arkansas. He is now continuing his studies at BerkleeNYC, where he will receive his Master’s degree in Writing and Production for Musical Theatre!

The next of our graduated seniors is baritone JP!

JP graduated with a double concentration in Economics and Government, and a secondary in Germanic Languages & Literature. He was a proud Lowell House resident, where he also served in the House Committee his sophomore and junior years. JP was a research assistant in psychology and political behavior, was a campus tour guide and worked for the Office for the Arts. He served as social chair of the Brazilian association, and was a FIP leader for three years! His summers were spent studying abroad in Berlin, Vienna, and interning in finance in Brazil and in Miami. He is starting full time as an analyst at J.P Morgan (no pun intended)!

As the Veritones return to campus this year, we sadly do so without our five lovely seniors from the class of 2026. So please join us in celebrating them before we welcome a new generation of Veritones in the fall!

First up is our former Miss President, the lovely Damla!

Damla graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience, in addition to studying vocal performance through the Harvard-Berklee Joint Studies Program. During her time at Harvard, she was a research assistant at the MIND Lab, where she worked on a gamma light and music intervention study looking at cognitive decline. She recently moved into her first ever apartment here in Boston, and is now interning in clinical care and preparing to apply to medical school!
