Sometimes I doubt about my decision quitting my full time job to create arts. Entering the 20th year making pottery, 8 of these years are so called “full time artist” aka I took on a deep paid cut.

Thankfully my husband (the only family member who) fully supports me and a few local studios that I can teach at.

Quitting my full time job didn’t mean I work less. I possibly spend more them “working” now but I must say that creating my arts are far more rewarding 💕

This small batch of work are all in the kiln now ready for reveal once the firing is done on Wednesday. Another excitement that I am able to fill my own kiln, loading, firing and unloading. It’s a great way of getting the 100% I MAKE THEM.

Any regrets of quitting the game of corporate world? No way!

We made close-form pumpkin during our class today Indigo Fire Studio 🎃 there will be lot of pumpkins going to the kiln next week!

4th week at Follow Your Art teaching my beginner wheel class.

Look at this maple 🍁 tree just outside of the studio! Isn’t it beautiful! ❤️

Tonight, we got a handbuilding project to play with. The hexagon planter is a big hit this year in all of my classes throughout multiple studios - I am so glad people enjoyed this fun project. This encourages me come up with more handbuilding ideas.

The ceramic studio at Fellow Your Art (the big yellow house) is operating with a lot of love. The surroundings show. I am very thankful for the opportunity joining this community❣️
