Mini Suncatcher Totems

Guys, I really went nuts with the clay tile beads. . . I have had a lot of fun pairing the terracotta with different combinations from my bead collection!

Each little guy is totally unique from any others. These make awesome window displays or interesting wall art, just like the bigger suncatchers! They're also the right size to hang on your rearview mirror, if you're into car jewelry ✨️

Trip around a mug 💙💚💜💛

This shorty is about 3 3/8" tall with a 3 3/4" diameter and holds 12oz of yum.

This mug is made of terra cotta clay from + was thrown on my .
The inside of the mug is a matte colored white amaco glaze + the background of the mug is a matte yellow with a hand-painted floral design in glazes.
I covered the outside design in a layer of wax after the glazes dried and carved through the layers of wax + glaze into the clay body.
I painted the incisions to add definition + contrast with a purple colored underglaze.
I let the cup dry out for a few weeks before I fired it in my kiln to about 1950°F.

This piece was only fired once but took hours and hours of thought, time + ex*****on.
