We have a big announcement!
We are reaching out to share some exciting news about significant changes at Cantara Cellars | Flat Fish Brewing | Cantara Distillery.
After twenty wonderful years, Chris and Mike Brown are going to retire from the industry and pass the torch to a new generation.
We're thrilled to announce that Scott and Katie Ballew of Strey Cellars are expanding their business ventures through the acquisition of our business. Formalities of the transaction concluded today.
Strey Cellars will continue to operate in Oxnard, and expand operations to include our location. The transition of new ownership begins this weekend with announcements you may see in social media and online in the coming days. We expect several months of joint activity ahead and a smooth integration of the two facilities, staff, and products.
We hope you'll come visit both locations. While you're there raise a glass and toast in celebration of the history, passion, and success of Chris, Mike, Katie and Scott.

We started this little adventure with our first grape harvest in September 2005. Over the years we've made and poured 1,000's of gallons of wine, beer, and spirits. What we will cherish most are the people we've met and friendships we've gained along the way. We've certainly have had our challenging days, but we could never have imagined the amount of fun times.
