Baby Lizzy alert!!! Who knew I could pull off a country thing?? (You did. You knew it. 😂) I unearthed this gem on Spotify. A little background: This was a passion project that my friend’s cousin was commissioned to compose and arrange. It’s a two-album (yes 2) story about a rodeo rider. He asked my friend to grab a bass, alto, and soprano to do the BGV’s. We drove to somewhere on the Gulf Coast and recorded it all in one weekend. I remember we all had something or other going on in our personal lives at the time, and after that weekend, to this day, I call them some of my best friends. We bonded over the Air-Supply/Alan Parsons Project sound at times, and downright giggled at some of the lyrics (Barbecutie?) This was my favorite, I think because it had a Greatest American Hero vibe.
