Yesterday, I walked into the Boys & Girls Club carrying this overflowing tub of balloons, and before I could even set it down, the kids started yelling, “THE BALLOON ANIMAL LADY!” 🎈🤣

They loved my new balloon menu and asked amazing questions about Cooper & Co Balloons how and why I started, how difficult it was to begin, what it cost and what running the business is really like.

Then they all became Cooper & Co employees! We pretended the Boys & Girls Club wanted to place a balloon order and worked through every step together from gathering the event information and checking the calendar to counting supplies, preparing and arriving at the event. They did an awesome job and were so excited to be “working” with me! Then I taught them how to make their own balloon dogs. 🐶

But the moment I will hold closest happened while I was talking about joy.

One of the older kids told me that he could see the joy inside and outside of me pouring out and that while I was talking, he could feel that joy, too.

That may be one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me. 🥹

To have a child notice the joy I feel while sharing Cooper & Co Balloons and then tell me that the joy reached him is something I can’t fully put into words. That is everything I hope people feel when they experience my business.

Yes, I love creating balloons. But even more, I love making children and adults feel noticed, welcomed and included. I love giving them a unique experience and watching their faces light up. A balloon may only last for a little while, but the joy someone feels in that moment can stay with them much longer.

Thank you to the Boys & Girls Club for welcoming the “balloon animal lady” and allowing me to share something I love so much.

Next Wednesday, I get to visit the other Marion location and after this experience, I am even more excited to do it all again! 🎈💛

Twisting my way into September with a heart full of gratitude, calendar full of amazing events, and so much joy to share! 🥹🎈🍂

September has always had my heart. It’s my wedding anniversary, my son’s birthday who was born on our anniversary and my daughter’s birthday just a few days later. Now, I also get to fill this already special month with all of these incredible events!

And honestly? I want to shout THANK YOU from the rooftops!

To every person who follows my page, likes or shares a post, tags Cooper & Co Balloons, tells a friend about me, books me, invites me back or simply stops to watch me twist a balloon at an event YOU helped make this calendar possible.

You believed in me. You trusted me to be part of your celebrations, your businesses and your communities. You’ve helped turn something I love into something real, meaningful and more rewarding than I ever imagined it could be. I truly cannot explain how much that means to me. 🫶

I won’t lie..I’m a little nervous (really excited though!!) about some of these opportunities! I’ll be twisting at Little Italy Ristorante during their Pizza for Good fundraiser supporting pediatric cancer, and I’ll be speaking and sharing my balloons with the Boys & Girls Club… SAY WHAT?! 🙌

I also get to be part of events with local businesses that my family already loves supporting like Leaping in Faith Mums! We go there for our fall decor, load up with a truck bed of pumpkins and have so much fun decorating our home together. So to now be asked to bring Cooper & Co Balloons to their fall event is incredibly exciting!

These things have so much meaning behind them, and I want that heart to come through in who I am and in my work. I want to show up, do my very best and help create an experience people will remember. That can feel like a lot of pressure but seriously what an incredible thing to get nervous and excited about!

I’m also heading back to Mansfield Speedway, returning to Pickwick for Flannel Fest, joining the Galion Kids Festival and filling this month with so many opportunities to spread joy, one balloon at a time.

From the absolute bottom of my heart—thank you for following, sharing, booking and believing in Cooper & Co Balloons. I wouldn’t have a September calendar like this without all of you. 🎈

Balloons took me on a little adventure today! 🚲🎈

First stop: Fremont for a birthday party filled with bike riding, pizza and plenty of balloons. My kind of birthday party! 🤣🥳 Of course, the birthday boy needed his very own balloon bike. This was my first time making one, and I’m pretty proud of how it turned out!

Since I was already that far north, I kept the adventure going and drove up to Port Clinton for some Lake Erie views and a big plate of perch. 🌊🐟

Balloon twisting takes me to some pretty fun places…not a bad way to spend the day! 💙

Do you know of any restaurants in Marion County or the surrounding area that offer a kids special during the week?
