What does a “Modern Portrait” look like in 2026?

This Mini Mural is 5’x3’, weatherproof, UV sealed, and lightweight to be easily moved wherever you go. Fine Blotch Studio paintings are ALWAYS painted with high-quality Golden Artist Colors to get the most vibrant colors that last.

Best part? I’ve never met the subject matter. No sitting in one space for hours or meeting up for a reference shot photo shoot.

Every item in the background was personally chosen by the patron and I acheived the image simply with piecing together a handful of reference photos sent to me. It makes it SO EASY to get a new painting of what you want that is exciting, original, and not dated.

Can you believe this mural was done IN A DAY?!? Updated to a polytab mural, this Sunnyside Dr Mural is now ready for the brute force of a MI winter. With proper prep, our team changed this wall in a matter of hours, not weeks.

Also the new design is much more fun! 🐻🪰

Special thank you to our Jr Fabricator for the extra set of hands!

Got some BIG Ol’ Whiskey pieces!

It was so nice to do what I now consider a “shmedium” sized piece and mesh what I have learned from muraling with my more traditional painting style. These sit at 4ft tall and could be considered very large paintings or very small murals. They are lightweight, moveable, fully weatherproof, and very durable! Can’t wait to see them in their home.

The snow will be gone soon enough, might as well enjoy it while it’s here!

Check out Cadillac’s ice tree this year! You know the saying, thick ice tree, thick year!… or something like that? Just don’t lick it 👅
