Enlightened J is a genre-defying, open-format DJ, singer-songwriter, music producer, and live entertainer whose greatest strength is his ability to connect with any crowd placed before him. The name Enlightened J was born from a spiritual awakening in 2013, when Jacob Patrick Coleman felt an unexpected calling toward music. He acted on that calling and began DJing in 2014, later expanding into beat-making and music production in 2016. What started as an inner realization grew into an artistic identity built around purpose, reinvention, human connection, and the power of music to bring people together.
More than a DJ, Enlightened J is a complete performer. His events can move seamlessly between expertly curated music, crowd interaction, live hosting, and performances of his own original songs. His background in broadcast journalism, public speaking, event planning, photography, and visual storytelling gives him an uncommon understanding of how every element of an event works together to create one unforgettable experience.
