🎶 BHS Band Update! 🎶
It’s been a few minutes since our last update, so here’s what’s happening in the world of BHS Music!
🥁 Fundraiser:
Our first fundraiser wraps up next Monday! Please make sure all order forms and money are turned in on time.
Preliminary estimates place our 2027 trip at around $1,100 per person. I know that’s a significant amount, but I’ve worked hard to reduce it from the original $1,800—and these are not “fancy” trips to San Antonio or Chicago!
We’ll have more fundraisers throughout the year, and I’ll continue working to keep costs as low as possible.
🎄 Holiday Parade – November 29th:
The Marching Band will be performing in the Holiday Parade!
Call time: 4:45 PM (subject to change once we receive lineup details)
Uniforms: Full uniforms
Festive Touch: Decorate yourself and/or your instrument with lights, garland, etc. Be creative—but make sure everything still works!
➡️ No hats or plumes this time. Instead, wear Santa hats, elf ears, antlers, or other holiday fun!
🎺 Pep Band Season!
Our December games are Dec. 2, 5, 9, 16, and 19.
A schedule will be posted in the band room soon.
Purple Band: Grades 9/12
Gray Band: Grades 10/11
Students can attend whichever games fit their schedules, but please try to make at least 6 performances.
Pep Band is always a blast—many students attend all the games (and yes, you can even bring homework if needed!).

Dec. 15 – Jazz Band @ Golf Club (Lunch Hour)
Dec. 15 – BHS Winter Jazz Concert @ ESMS, 7 PM

Dec. 18 – BHS Winter Concert @ BHS Gym, 7 PM
🎶 Featuring Concert Band, Concert Choir, & Orchestra
