This week’s Match of the Week features the Men+’s last regular season game. Now standing at 3-0, Burlington travels down to Boston to face an annual thorn, the Boston Maccabi.

The last three meetings of these teams have resulted in upsets in the Maccabi’s favor as Burlington has 2 losses and a draw against them in previous seasons.

One of those loses being the last regular season ‘home’ (played in Stowe) game losses that Burlington has suffered.

Keep an eye out for match lineups, locations and kick off times as Burlington Men+ look to have the chip on their shoulder be dealt with to close the season out.

Thank you to McKee’s Original Bar and Game Room for sponsoring this week’s Match of the Week!

BWRFC+ didn’t come home with the results they wanted, but they did come back with renewed vigor for the game and even more love for their fellow teammates!

Burlington brought the tenacity to Beantown in the second half and were able to put points on the board against a strong defensive team. They never gave up and they will be looking to use what they learned this past weekend towards their playoff-deciding game against Worcester WRFC coming up on 10/24.

Only one regular season test remains, as Burlington travels to face Boston Maccabis.

A massive battle lies ahead of Burlington Men+ this weekend, in this week’s match of the week!

This Saturday (10.10) they host Charles River RFC at the Tree Farm in a clash of two 2-0 teams! The last time these sides met was in fall of 2023 when an ascending Charles hosted, and served Burlington a 54-14 thumping to send us home with.

Withe Burlington hosting this time around, who will come out on top? Charles River the D2 relegate or last years D3 runner up, Burlington.

Come and find out!

Keep an eye out for more updates - pitch info, kick off times, and lineups!
