Hello beautiful tangueros!!! We made it!!!!!!! We survived to this immense ATUSA 15 year anniversary celebration production!
We are still trying to recover after this very special 15th Anniversary edition of ATUSA — the result of an entire year of hard work, dedication, passion, and countless hours of preparation, followed by 5 incredibly intense days of nonstop programming, details, coordination, and permanent attention to every aspect of the event.
We are exhausted… but also deeply HAPPY, INSPIRED, EMOTIONAL, PASSIONATE, and FULL OF GRATITUDE! THANK YOU SO MUCH for attending this wonderful, unforgettable Celebration of the 15th Anniversary of ATUSA!
Our hearts are still full after experiencing one of the most incredible editions in ATUSA history. The energy throughout the entire festival was absolutely magical — everywhere we looked, people were happy, dancing, embracing, celebrating, and fully enjoying every moment together.
We are so proud and grateful for this edition that we cannot express it enough in words!
Both the festival and the Official Competition were spectacular. We witnessed an extraordinary level of talent, glamour, passion, and professionalism, with so many beautiful couples giving their very best on the dance floor. The atmosphere was electric from beginning to end, and we could not be more proud and grateful for what we all created together.
This special anniversary edition was filled with unforgettable HIGHLIGHTS:
- the fantastic live music by TANGO BARDO Orchestra brought an incredible force and emotion to the milongas, creating moments that will remain in our memories forever;
- the performances by our MAESTROS were simply magnificent — with a level of artistry, professionalism, and spectacular production unlike anything we have ever seen before at ATUSA;
- our OFFICIAL JUDGES impeccable work, whose professionalism, expertise, seriousness, and commitment helped uphold the highest standards for the Official Competition;
- our new MASTER of CEREMONIES Lisette Perelle, and new Competition DJ Rainier Pereira, with the full support of our former 14 years master of ceremonies Dorcas Hendershot, together a great team who brought grace and flow to this edition;
- our EXPERT DJs who brought so much energy and passion to our matinee and evening milongas;
and the whole program of classes, special Chacarera, Musicality and DJ workshops, and the new AFTERGLOW matinee closing milonga were also a tremendous success, which received an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from the community.
One of the most emotional moments of the weekend was the tribute to our PAST OFFICIAL CHAMPIONS. We want to deeply thank all the former champions who shared this very special 15-year celebration edition with us and who gifted us such beautiful group performance: Ramada Salieri, Yumiko Krupenina, Adam Cornett, Ruth Hernandez Aravena, Yamila Viana, Ana Thomas, Martin Cardoso, Rochelle Banuet, Jesus Matias Aranguren and Jael Montilla.
The golden touch to close this amazing 15th anniversary celebration was sharing a glass of champagne and traditional Argentine alfajores with the whole ATUSA crowd!
We want to mention our BEAUTY STATION, featuring professional makeup artist Donna Sheynis and hairstylist Keiko Kabuki, who added an extra glamorous touch to the festival experience and helped so many participants shine on and off the dance floor.
A HUGE applause and special recognition to our amazing ATUSA VOLUNTEER TEAM: 40 outstanding people whose dedication and hard work made this event possible, unforgettable and so amazing!

Fifteen years ago, ATUSA began with a dream and a deep love for tango. Today, after this extraordinary anniversary celebration, we feel more inspired than ever by the beauty, passion, and unity of this community.
