I was recently asked by a customer to create an illustration to go along with the poem he wrote for his wife to gift to her on her birthday.

What a beautiful way to profess his love for her! 🥹😍

It’s not just a house… it’s a home 🏡 💕

Some home paintings just hit a little harder. This was never one that I lived in, but I felt like I did for many years.

This was where I worked my first job. I was a babysitter for many years to two wonderful girls. It started out as just a summer gig, but gradually became a year round commitment that I truly loved.

I watched these girls grow up and become beautiful and smart young ladies. They’re definitely smarter than me! But what I remember most was playing Barbies, taking them to the pool for swim practices and just for fun, going down to the creek to look for tadpoles, and tucking them into bed at night when I was needed for more than just daytime sitting.

This was the home that I realized that my dream job was to he a mom. ❤️

So when the family moved, it was a no-brainer that I had to paint their first home to keep and cherish with them in their new home.

Thank God the second frame I purchased was delivered to me in one piece and didn’t break in transit to the home! 😅 the first one was completely shattered when it arrived. Ugh!
