We are considering doing a Farm/ Farm Animal Camp towards the end of July, for children to learn about miniature farm animals, what it takes to care for them and also different types of farms/farmers. Looking to see if anyone has elementary aged children (5-10) that might enjoy a farm animal day camp experience? We have miniature highland cows with new baby calves, miniature donkeys and a new baby mini donkey foal, dwarf goats and a baby dwarf goat (kid) born this year, as well as chickens and free range rabbits too. All of our animals are raised by us on our farm from birth, and are very docile and friendly. Children will learn about the different types of farms, safety rules around all our farm animals, what each animal can provide to us, why we need more farms, along with why it is so important to support our local farmers!! In addition, we will have a little water fun after the animal fun, to cool off each day! Children will get a photo with a miniature highland calf, a miniature donkey foal, or a baby goat! Whichever they prefer, (and whichever cooperates for all the photos with the children, as sometimes animals have a mind of their own and may not do what us humans want!) 😆😂🤣💯❤️
I will likely only have space (and help) for 10-12 children at a time. Located in Bullock, NC. Please message us if you would be interested! Children would need to bring a lunch, water bottle, towel/bathing suit and sunscreen) Cost is very tentative and may change, depending on interest and whether we do multiple daily 4-6 hour, afternoon camp experiences (tentative cost of ‘approximately’ $50-$60/per child) or a longer camp, like 3 days, 4-5 hour/day camp (tentative cost of ‘approximately’ $125-$135/per child). Let us know which camp would work best for you and we can get you the information needed, after all our logistics are in order!
