Lavender Haze Collective is a Buffalo-based company focused on supporting the local and regional music scene through tour booking, artist management, and promotion/talent buying. The company was founded in 2018 by Ellen Pieroni.
Ellen Pieroni is a local musician. She got her start booking shows for her first band, Ellen Pieroni Quartet, and eventually started booking small tours for a band she plays with, Folkfaces. Now, she has acquired lots of experience booking tours for Folkfaces, from Ottawa to New Orleans, and has expanded to booking tours for other projects. LHC has contributed to booking tours for Dirty Blanket, The Tenants, Mosswalk, Tortoise Forest, Buffalo Afrobeat Orchestra, and more.
Pieroni was the talent buyer for local live music club, Nietzsche’s, from 2015-2019. She has put together a handful of small festivals and series there, including Nietzsche’s FolkFest & JazzFest, a Monday night Jazz Happy Hour Series, and a Winter Bluegrass Series. She was also a major coordinator of Folkfaces first-ever music festival in fall 2018.
Pieroni is the was the talent buyer and music manager for The Tabernacle at Sweet_ness 7 Cafe from July 2019 - April 2020. She is also the chair of the Performance Committee for the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts and the Vice President of the Chromatic Club of Buffalo. LHC has hosted events at many other Buffalo music venues, including Macky’s Shamrock Room, Sportsmens Tavern, and Mohawk Place.
