Coming to The Art of Home at The Loading Dock on Saturday? Make RiverTown Gallery & Studio part of your visit. We’re open Saturday from 11 am–4 pm, with guest artist Bob Gildo (Vincent) and his imaginative paintings, wood art, and sculpture.

Original art brings personality to a home, and Bob’s work has plenty of it—from lively painted scenes to distinctive pieces that celebrate the character of wood. Stop in before the afternoon program, meet Bob, and explore the gallery.

Haven’t made Saturday plans yet? The Art of Home features Jean Stoffer of Magnolia Network’s The Established Home and Ruth McKeaney for an afternoon of conversation about home, design, and hospitality. General admission tickets for the 2–4 pm program are still available; VIP tickets are sold out. Add a gallery visit and lunch downtown, and make an afternoon of it!

You can also join us for Bob’s opening reception Friday, August 28, from 5–7 pm.

Many of you who followed Blais Rustic Chic or have spent time around Three Oaks will know Bob Gildo as Vincent.

Bob has been part of the Harbor Country arts community for many years, creating paintings, wood art, sculpture, and handcrafted furniture. His work is colorful, imaginative, and distinctly his own—often inspired by familiar places, community life, wildlife, and the natural character of wood.

We’re delighted to welcome our friend Bob as Rivertown Gallery’s featured guest artist this weekend. Join us for the reception Friday, August 28, from 5–7 pm, or visit Saturday, August 29, from 11 am–4 pm.

Some of you know me from the Blais Rustic Chic days in Three Oaks, and I’m so happy to be welcoming people now to our new creative space in Buchanan — RiverTown Gallery & Studio.

This Friday and Saturday, we’re featuring two wonderful guest artists: Pittsburgh-based potter Ken Worstell and Tucson oil painter Lynn Gregson.

Today we officially open RiverTown Gallery & Studio, and I can’t think of a better way to begin than by welcoming Steven and Louise Skinner of BlackTree Studio Pottery as our first Pop-Up Guest Artists.

Their contemporary stoneware and porcelain pieces are beautifully crafted, richly textured, and wonderful to experience in person. Many of you who followed Blais Rustic Chic in Three Oaks will remember how much I love work that brings together artistry, material, and a strong sense of place — and the Skinners’ pottery does exactly that.

Please join us for the opening reception today, Friday, May 15, from 5–7 p.m. Steven and Louise will also be at RiverTown throughout the day Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
