Three years ago today, my 20-year career in higher education was abruptly ended. When I reflect, it was more like God saying “It’s your time.”

Today, I have thriving business as a trainer, speaker, and executive coach. So many doors have opened because I kept pushing, dreaming and believing in myself. My faith keeps me going and my mission to pull out the best in others is what sustains my joy.

This morning, a woman walked up to me at “Influence - National Speaker’s Association Conference” and complimented my (red) suit. She was wearing this button and said “Tell me something good.” I told her about my business and that three years ago today, I became a full-time entrepreneur. She took off the button and gave it to me and said “spread more good in the world by telling your story.”

My story is simple. I stepped out on faith and bet on myself!

If you have found yourself in a funk - unhappy and unfilled, it’s time to reevaluate what brings you joy. Bet on yourself!

Thank you to all my clients, for every referral and anyone who has spoken my name in a room and opened unimaginable opportunities!

I manifested a partnership with Tepper Sports & Entertainment, owner of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC, two years ago. Six months ago we started putting the pieces together.

This week, I walked into Bank of America Stadium to kick off a series of professional development trainings with Tepper’s incredible management team. More to come!

Dress how you want to be addressed.
