Last Race of the season Recap-

Made some decent changes in practice and the truck didn’t feel right but that practice ended decently fast! Go out in the next practice and something felt off crazy you can check everything twice and it can be running good before you park it, and then out of the blue the clutch didn’t want to hold the power from the engine! After the crew Andy Cribbs Dominic Guerrieri swapped the clutch with one that I had as a spare we just missed out on qualifying but had it all back together to make the race! Rain came all the way from Boulder and didn’t let up for a while but we were ready! The rain stopped and I tried to get some laps drying the track to see if it was better and had to push start it! I thought the little slipping was from the tires being wet parked it and was ready for the race. Due to the delay we decided to do a 50 lap race for championship night! All ready to start the show and green flag comes out and the spare clutch was just as bad as the original! But we stayed out of the way for 50 laps it by far was one of the longest races! We secured ROTY and had a few uphill battles this season but all and all it was a year I won’t forget! We got a chance to see it all this season!

I want to thank my crew with a million things they could be doing all summer they decided to spend their days at the track in the middle of the July heat!!!

Race Recap!

Woohooooo finally made it though a race since mid season things went well! Practice was good although 1st practice had some oil on the track and sent us for a wild ride out of turn 2! Second practice we were finally able to make some adjustments! I repeat we were finally able to make some adjustments! Heat race was good pushed a little and 2 trucks drove under me every lap has to almost be perfect one slip up and you get passed! We were ready for the main!! The truck is starting to feel good and we are going to continue off of it!!! Stands were packed for this race and I have never seen a crowd so wild around lap 19 (reminded me of racing growing up) some people picked one side some people picked the other side some people didn’t want to be in the middle of it! All and all the fans went crazy (right or wrong) and it shows how much emotion is in racing! And how much time is invested in racing! I want to thank every fan in the stands without them we wouldn’t be able to put on a show! I want to thank my crew! One more race left in this rookie season! I definitely couldn’t have made it without you guys!!

Last post was reported will try the race recap again!

Fighting air in the clutch slave found a leak on the bleeder line and then replaced the line with a hard one! Then spent all of practice bleeding it out! Well it didn’t bleed so we had to push start for qualifying did that and once we got back In the pits the clutch started working there aren’t a lot of problems that sort themselves out!

Started in the back of the heat race and trying to get use to the new engine! Put a couple of good laps together finding a grove and passed a truck right before the finish line.

Started the main little bit of rain from the sky got in a little tangle up but battled through it! Right after that it went red to let the rain finish falling! Went green after the short delay a good start on the outside! Unfortunately a truck infront of me spun out and I tried my best to avoid him but had nowhere to go! Definitely unfortunate for the other driver as well!

It’s all about how you bounce back right?

Racing would be nothing without a track and nothing without great staff and most importantly the fans! Week in and week out we promise to do anything to make a fans night!

Signing things in the pits after we gave some shirts away! those sprint cars bring alot more fans into the pits! But on several occasions the parents said it’s so nice you all do this for the kids! This is every weekend week in and week out! It’s crazy to think 20 some years ago I was jumping in the painter Billy Harkins truck! Or Chris leafs truck and now kids get the opportunity to do the same!

Sprint cars and pro trucks I don’t think there is a better way to spend your weekend!!!!! The back season luck hit us hard but it’s how you gather all your parts and overcome situations in life!!!
