Last post was reported will try the race recap again!

Fighting air in the clutch slave found a leak on the bleeder line and then replaced the line with a hard one! Then spent all of practice bleeding it out! Well it didn’t bleed so we had to push start for qualifying did that and once we got back In the pits the clutch started working there aren’t a lot of problems that sort themselves out!

Started in the back of the heat race and trying to get use to the new engine! Put a couple of good laps together finding a grove and passed a truck right before the finish line.

Started the main little bit of rain from the sky got in a little tangle up but battled through it! Right after that it went red to let the rain finish falling! Went green after the short delay a good start on the outside! Unfortunately a truck infront of me spun out and I tried my best to avoid him but had nowhere to go! Definitely unfortunate for the other driver as well!

It’s all about how you bounce back right?

Racing would be nothing without a track and nothing without great staff and most importantly the fans! Week in and week out we promise to do anything to make a fans night!

Signing things in the pits after we gave some shirts away! those sprint cars bring alot more fans into the pits! But on several occasions the parents said it’s so nice you all do this for the kids! This is every weekend week in and week out! It’s crazy to think 20 some years ago I was jumping in the painter Billy Harkins truck! Or Chris leafs truck and now kids get the opportunity to do the same!

Sprint cars and pro trucks I don’t think there is a better way to spend your weekend!!!!! The back season luck hit us hard but it’s how you gather all your parts and overcome situations in life!!! We will be there Don’t miss a fun filled Saturday Colorado National Speedway!!! Sprint cars are on the million dollar race and will battle it out!

Well well well!!! When the odds are against us we push through it’s 4th and 3 and we are looking for the first down!!! When the QB is counting on the left tackle to make a play but the whole line makes a play ! Back side is the blind side but we score!!!!! once you are part of a team you play for one another kinda like racing but smaller right!!! Or is it ???

What a weekend to say the least…………

Practice on Friday finally thought we could get some laps to dial the truck In! Second practice the truck shut down!! Went through it later that night and it was a distributor! Not ever having the extra part you actually need found one the original plan didn’t work out but Adam Hilton stayed at the shop late to make sure I had one to get the truck to the race on Saturday! Drop it in and it’s running excited to be able to race on Saturday!

Unload the car check it and hit practice on Saturday all to be surprised 6 laps in the rod wanted to see the other side of the oil pan and made a big mess on the track!!! Looks like the engine didn’t want to make it through the season! Double Seven racing had a tough weekend but with every weekend Monday will always be there! A few more races left in the season a strong plan In place can’t wait to be back out there !

What a weekend to say the least!!!! By far one of those races you have to overcome the odds and figure it out! Practice one had more power but couldn’t use it the truck was falling flat on its face! Made some fuel adjustments and came out with the same in the second practice! Got the tires switched out and qualified with the same cutting out issue (wouldn’t rev past 6100) start in the back of the pack for the first feature and it’s still running the same but I’m working with it and finding the best way to drive with the given circumstances! 3 laps in and I lost all power got to watch the rest of the laps from the infield! Autumn was already headed back with a coil Andy was re routing fuel lines! We were so determined to figure the issue out! Got called to the tower for the second feature not knowing if I would even make it past the 3 laps in the first feature I pull a card that has a 3 on it they said that’s where I’m starting the second feature (lucky 3 I know) looks like something we did worked because the thing was a runner! Putting it down on the track was the next challenge as the truck was Lucy goosy I save it from spinning around a couple times! Just shows anything can happen on any given night wish we had time to mess with setup instead of it running but the next race is August 8th and we will put in the work! Thank you to all the support I know this takes time thank you for sticking it out and helping

Get your chains !!!!!

Racing!!! The amount of work to keep things going in order! words could never explain the appreciation I feel for the people standing in my corner!
Still working out some setup issues on the truck; if anyone said this part was easy, they lied! I qualified, felt a little wobble on my tires, made some big adjustments, thinking we are starting in the back and it will be okay to try! The heat race inverted the field, so we started the heat in 1st (my first time starting the race), only held on for a lap and a half or so, and started giving up spots! The wobble got worse, finished the heat!

One of the tires was coming apart, so we fixed that and made some more adjustments for the main!

Started the main, and the truck has never handled the way it did; it took some getting used to, but I started finding my groove! Finished 10th; I can’t wait to see building up from here. I used to think it was mash the pedal on the right and turn left; that is definitely not the case, but we will get there! I want to thank everyone who comes out and supports and gave up their holiday to be a part of this!!! Like seriously I couldn’t do it alone!!!
