Just wanted to do a little wrap up post about my musical year...
With the help of all of you and especially my Patreon community, I was able to release 6 songs in 2025 on my EP, "Build The Walls Higher". In the midst of that, I was featured on a local TV show where I played my song “Hurricane Alley". Speaking of Hurricane Alley, we made a live music video for Hurricane Alley! Then it won the Maine Songwriting Contest!!
In addition to my solo work, I also released Northern Maine, a collaborative album with Anthony Cann, which charted at #4 on Maine's best community radio station, WERU.
It was also an amazing year for concerts. After some time away from performing due to my health, I dove back in this year. I was able to focus on listening rooms and music festivals where I could really connect with the audience. Some highlights were Common Ground Fair, All Roads Music Festival (Belfast), Underground Lounge (Belfast), Cadenza (Freeport), and Pinecone Studio (Brunswick).
Another wonderful part of making music this year was doing the February Album Writing Month (FAWM). I put my writing skills to the test by writing 19 songs. You can purchase the collection on Patreon for $10 or sign up for Patreon to hear all of the music I made this year.
I actually created 30 songs on Patreon this year!!! Of which only 5 were shared with the world. It just takes me forever to tweak and perfect a song for a public release… but on Patreon my community gets to hear every single new song I write. Not only do they support me with their ears and hearts, they have the option to subscribe and financially support my endeavors. All of the music I made had a lot of costs. Hiring musicians, paying for mastering, promotion costs, gear upgrades… Anyway, my Patrons contributed to me and I was able to make the investments in my music that would be hard calls self funding.
I wanted to give you a taste too. You can get 25% off on my Patreon at patreon.com/alicelimoges by entering the code C2E62 at check out. There are also 7 day free trials so you can get a taste of what’s going on there before committing. It feels so great to bring new friends into my community, so I hope you will join me as a subscriber. There is also the option to join as a free follower. I think it’s such a step up from the algorithms on social media
