The Second Friday Artist Market at Revival Of Cultural Arts is going well as we have seen a constant flow of people from the community coming in to see and support local artists. Many thanks to local artist Gabriel Trevino Gabriel Trevino for organizing this opportunity for local artists and to ROCA for hosting! I am selling my framed authentic shoe art pieces at 40% off and prints at $10. If any may interest you send me a DM for pricing.

Hello 👋 I invite you and company to join local artists as we display our art at this show at the ROCA Performing Arts Academy in Downtown Brownsville. I am working on a concept for a public art submission for the City of Brownsville bus shelters. I am thinking I may need to work on bigger paper and make sure the proportions are correct. Another idea to save drawing effort is to capture photos of the same Resaca spot at four different phases of the day and then format and stylize with Photoshop for a painterly effect. What do you all think I should do?

It was time for another bit of art therapy. What emotion do you think I am trying to capture here? It really does help, once it’s out on the paper, I feel it less in my body and my mind and my heart just a little more healed. I can look at it more objectively.

Join us this upcoming Friday, July 10th for "Second Friday" at ROCA-Revival of Cultural Arts for an Artists Market where I will join fellow local creatives in displaying and selling art. I will have art and prints for sale and will offer speed shoe portraits on the spot!

Upcoming event! 🫵😎Let’s do it!
