ALAT AT THE ODIN TEATRET
REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN!!!
We are reaching out to you as the adventurous theatre artist that you are to see if you might be inspired to take a leap and come to Denmark in March of 2020, when members of ALATetc will travel to Holstebro, home of Odin Teatret, to participate in an intense 10-day Dance of Intentions workshop led by Odin’s master actor-teacher, Roberta Carreri.
Because we are traveling as a company and Odin has taken travel expenses into consideration, they have reduced the workshop price and are offering us a company rate of only $500 per participant. This fee includes lodging, the workshop and other special events with Roberta Carreri - for 10 days! Let me repeat only $500 for 10 days in Denmark with a master Odin actor-teacher. This does not include meals nor travel, as people would come from their respective cities.
WORKSHOP DATES ARE MARCH 22-APRIL 2 AND WILL BE CONDUCTED IN ENGLISH.
The founding members of ALAT trained with Carreri at Odin Teatret. When ALAT was formed, the founding members brought, adapted, and refined the techniques they learned there to train their own company.
Building on her craft from Odin, Carreri has come into contact with performing techniques from Japan, India, Bali, and China. She gives workshops all over the world and if not for current travel restrictions imposed on international artists from our government, this workshop would have been held here in the USA. It is unclear when or if these restrictions will be lifted, so this is a unique opportunity to work with this master teacher in person.
