Vinny Fodera and team helping bring Jimmy’s bass a little more resonance!
(The 6-string bass you also see is the FIRST 6-string bass EVER made,
envisioned by Anthony Jackson and assembled by Carl Thompson.) Ultimately
Vinny Fodera and Anthony created the first fully functioning 6-string bass
ever, and the rest is history. Even my 5-string wouldn’t be a thing without
that critical, visionary work.
I needed a little bit of work done on Jimmy’s bass and asked Vinny, who kindly offered his boundless expertise
and unique craftsmanship to help fix some pretty serious items. He did it, it sounds wonderful and is ready
to be put in the hands of the masters if they so choose.
