Our second lace-making class is here.
This time, we explore needle lace — one of the oldest lace-making techniques.

In this introductory session, you’ll learn several foundational stitches, perfect for beginners.
One of our personal favorites, and a technique that we incorporate in to our collections.

Handmade lace has always been at the heart of KÚR design language — a signature craft we are deeply committed to preserving and sharing.
Over the past decade, we’ve connected with lace enthusiasts across the world — from Sri Lanka to USA, Belgium, Portugal and England — all united by a love for this timeless craft.

As part of our ongoing effort to share knowledge and preserve handmade lace techniques, we are excited to collaborate with our dear friend, lace artist and instructor Ellyane Hutchinson, to introduce a series of lace-making classes at our studio.

is a New York–based, multi-skilled lace artist with a passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge. Her practice spans a wide range of handmade lace techniques, explored both in the US and internationally.

Our first class will take place on Saturday, 28th of March.

MAKE LACE WITH US!
Dear world community:
We ask one and all to join the Columbia Gorge Museum in a large-scale, community (of the world) lace project. Our goal is to invite you to be part of our community wherever you are now.
On the website are instructional videos, patterns, and PDF’s for more information. All triangles will be joined together, as we all should be, in a traveling exhibition, with a label naming contributors and their location.
Will you help the Museum make this happen?
Thank you for anyone contributing and please share! How much can we grow the understanding of lace history, beauty, and importance?
No previous experience necessary!
It’s all in the videos and PDF.

Check our website for upcoming lace events, workshops, and happenings!
