So, just to keep everyone up to date with what’s going on with me.

Last week I did some testing, and it turns out that the chemo that I’ve been on (Gemcitabine/Abraxene) for the last two years has pretty much stopped working.

To combat this, I’m going back on Folfox, a chemo regimen that I was on back in 2023. Based on past experience, I expect it to be a bit rougher on me than Gemcitabine/Abraxane was. But that’s fine - I’ll make it through.

There is also discussion of surgery in the coming months, as the doctors feel that between surgery and additional radiation, we should be able to combat this.

So, that’s it for now. 🙂 It’s a setback, but only a minor one. A speed bump in the road. But I’m looking forward to continuing the good fight. 🙂

Thank you, everyone, for your Tehillim, Tefillos, and well-wishes. They are all greatly appreciated and serve as a constant reminder that I have the greatest network of support (family, friends, community, etc.) a person could ever hope for.

With thanks to God, I’m pleased to be able to say that I completed the Book of Shemos (Exodus) today and began work on Vayikra (Leviticus), which involved cutting a new feather quill for the first time in over two years. I’m looking forward to completing Vayikra and the rest of the Sefer Torah.
