YOUR BUDDY VONN, The Unexpected Journey

From the heart of Rangoon to the lights of New York, YOUR BUDDY VONN has been building his story one step at a time.

In 2019, he stood behind the scenes as an Event Management Intern at EDM festivals across Myanmar, learning the rhythm of the industry before ever touching the decks.

When the world paused in 2020, he pressed play.
He stepped into music production.
He stepped into performance.
He stepped into his own sound.

In 2022, a new chapter began in New York. Weeks after his birthday, he launched the VII FOR VONN DJ Artworks Collaboration Project, blending art and sound into something bigger than a set. A movement was forming.

Now, with eyes on 2026, he is building more than music.
YOUR BUDDY VONN is not just a name. It is a promise of hope, creation, and commitment.

YOUR BUDDIES IN BROOKLYN will unite Myanmar producers abroad.
YOUR BUDDIES DJ SESSION will create space for skill, passion, and community.

So when VONN steps into the booth at Expect the Unexpected Volume 2,
he is not just playing music.

He is telling his story through sound.
The only question is, are you ready to be part of it?
