What is something you do?

I love spending my mornings outside with my dogs, drinking coffee on the porch, working with my flowers and gardening. In the summer, I enjoy my pool in the afternoons.
Sometimes, a little window shopping, even if I don't make a purchase, just having a change of scenery.
It doesn't have to be anything big, just enjoy what you have around you. 💚

One of Winston's Whispers was left in Mt Vernon Illinois outside panda express by Mary Linebaugh-Clapp while traveling home from vacation. May whoever finds this special stone be reminded that even when we feel broken during seasons of our life, we are still perfectly made!! Being a little broken at times doesn't mean we are damaged or not worthy. Actually I Believe it to be just the opposite. We are brave, strong and resilient. And often times more equipped to help others. All of our pieces are still there, just rearranged a tad. 😉

I wanted to share this post that I ran across this morning on my Facebook feed.
Although it didn't end up on Winston's page, I was pleasantly surprised to see it had been found.
This Rock is 1 of the first 6 that was placed back in May here in my hometown of Brookfield, Mo.
This morning is a reminder to me that sometimes good things take time! Things always happen in perfect timing and always just when we need them the most. This truly meant the world to me today 🩷 Along with the feather that I found while working in the yard this morning, I know Winston is sending me all the special love today!! Thank you bro!

There are days when the waves are too high, the wind too strong, and the door you planned to walk through stays shut. It feels like progress has stopped. It feels like all you can do is wait and watch.But this is not wasted time. This is preparation time.When fishermen cannot go out to sea, they do not sit idle. They fix the tears in their nets. They sharpen their tools. They sort what they have and make sure everything is ready for the day the waters calm again.

Your quiet seasons are not empty seasons. You are mending what broke while you were rushing. You are learning what you missed before. You are growing stronger so you can carry more when the tide turns. Progress does not always look like moving forward. Sometimes it looks like getting ready.

Today Mericia Sisson took one of Winston's Whispers of Hope with her to Maryville, Mo. If you stop at Clear Creek keep your eyes open, you might just spot it and be reminded not to stress over the things you cannot control.
I know that is hard to do sometimes, I have found myself doing this very thing, however, I have found that things do tend to work out, not always in our timing, but exactly when and as they should.
