Piano Lady, aka Deanne Petras, has been in the music scene for over 40 years, starting with her training in classical piano. She had studied piano since the age of 5 through her college years at the OU School of Music. From 1985-2014, she played hundreds of weddings, was church organist and choir director for two area Presbyterian churches, and was accompaniest for many high school drama clubs. De

anne was also known locally in the Ohio Valley as DJ Deanne, as a karaoke DJ for ten years from 1997-2007. In 2003, Deanne started writing songs, including "Leaves On the Canopy," "Margie McGill," and "You Just Make Me Blue". In 2014, she started playing shows both locally and in northern Oh, WV, & Pa, as Deanne the Piano Lady, and her most recent project as part of a duo called Folk'n Irish, a stint from 2015 through and just recently ended in mid March of 2022. She has currently put her main focus back into her solo act again as Piano Lady, singing some of her own creations, as well as many covers, while continuing to collaborate with other musicians.
