I've been tinkering around with crochet and knitting lately. I don't foresee blankets in my future but I have definitely enjoyed this current project, even though it was a learning one. The nice part about learning meant that I actually measured things when I had to pull out the stitches, roughly 193.75' of rope.

It's almost 13" and I used a punching balloon to help it take shape. This was made with a spool of 1/4" rope I picked up from repurposed MATERIALS .

How to make magic:
1. Find an Inspiring idea- Mine was my Monster Rangers Secret Krampus giftee's personal art work.
2. Scale artwork to desired size and trace on to trusty ole graph paper.
3. Enlarge drawing by sketching it onto parchment paper via a grid system. Piece patterns will be traced from base template.
4. Combine love, happy energy, well chosen fabric, an assortment of pins, thread, needles and sewing machines, plus a couple drops of blood stolen from the creator.
5. Be sure to enlist the help of the local watch cat, he will interrupt you enough so you do not get swept away in the magic.
6. Final Step: Brown paper packages tied up with string.

All patterns and designs are created by me using graph paper, poster board and my wonderful sketching skills. And yes, my skill has improved with each new quilt.

The idea for the mermaids are not completely original but the Pirates are mine. All patterns are original created by me using pencil, paper, a little poster board and a wonderful imagination
