Here is the work I put into the county fair last week! I’m really happy with how they turned out! I wasnt expecting the big pretty ribbons. Thats was a fun surprise.

I have finally been able to get my art back on a role!

Life has been crazy as our home life has shifted to homeschooling and art was put on the back burner.

But with a new art class in my pocket and life getting back into routine with the new school year, art is in motion again.

I found the bravery to use my new printer. I am amazed at the quality of my prints. It is drastically better than my old printer and the print-on-demand samples I ordered of my works.

Guys, I can't describe how amazed I am at these prints. I didn't think my digital art would look this good on paper. It's been reinvigorating for me to get back into full swing with creating, and I am excited for selling my own prints from home now.

I have even entered two pieces into my county fair this week! We'll be going to see them on display later this week, and I'll be sure to post about them!

I got to say the Holiday season was amazing! Although I didn’t spend anytime of it drawing it was wonderful spending it with family. It also has lead to old projects getting pulled out to be finished.

Here is my son’s quilt! I started it about 2 years ago. Last summer I got the boarder on and now I’m finally getting to quilting it! (Aka, my son -who is 4- saw it and asked for it, so it must be done). I decided to brave hand quilting which I haven’t done in a long time. But I’m excited to work on it!

I will be returning to my tail series soon!

Here’s a throw back to 2010. One of my favorite pieces I did in college. It’s hung in my parents house until they moved about a year ago and now it gets to be displayed in my own home.

“She’s got the Blues” was an in class assignment with layered acrylic paint that was sanded down to expose the orange and yellow with charcoal and white chalk to express the form of the subjects. It showed in the student showcase in 2011 at Snow college.

Christmas lights are a bonus reflection. 😎
