Dress up your home for the festival season !!
Choose something that is handmade - after all a lot of love goes into creating hand painted products. That love goes along to your home with the product …. something you can never get in a store !!

Rise- this Madhubani painting was part of a submission to a juried Call for Art .
The ask was to create artwork in the Madhubani / Mithila art form inspired by verse.
I chose Maya Angelou’s Still I Rise .
There she is - rising up every time she is buried - her torso steadfast and strong/ her branches flexible and welcoming - her head high … carrying the world !!
Even though this piece did not get selected, I was thankful for the opportunity and the challenge .
I am so thankful to a dear friend who bought this and added it to her art collection.

I absolutely love how fast this tray reached it’s forever home !!
My friend spent a lot of time and effort to visit me at the Somerville Fall Arts Fair . She bought this tray from my collection for her friend .
They met the very same day for a meal and …
Voila !! - the tray reached its forever home 🏡
Absolutely thrilled !!
It’s the support and encouragement of friends that keeps my small business on track and me energized!!
