Art prompt #1
Take a picture of something weird. Post it here if you want. Posed or unposed.
For the record, this rock, paper, and scissors scenario was UNSTAGED! I just happened to notice that the three items were placed on my shelf together, undoubtedly by me, each at different times, with no intention whatsoever.
The Warhammer mini figures on the Kilz 2 can was staged, however.
If you want to take it to the next step and draw something or make something inspired by your photo, feel free. But the act of composing the photo is itself a creative act. Composing could be placing things in a certain way, but it’s also the way you frame the scene with your camera.
(Did you know? The boundaries of your picture are part of the composition!?)
