Northwest Print Jam Print Exchange is a first come first serve event with 50 spots.

Check the link in our bio or on our website- If the application form is visible, there are spots open.

All prints must be 8 x 10 inches.
Completed prints must be mailed no later than August 18th. Glassine paper must separate each print.

The participation fee is $50. Shipping costs are separate and will be charged individually if you would like your exchange portfolio mailed to you.

Yes. All submitted works should be original prints created by the participating artist using a printmaking process. Digital printing is discouraged and AI artwork is unacceptable.

Applications for the print exchange close on July 3rd, or once all 50 spots have been filled. Payment will be required within one week of closing or notification that the exchange has reached capacity.

A print exchange is a collaborative event where artists create and trade original prints with one another. Each participant contributes a set number of prints, then receives a curated collection of work from fellow artists in return.

Print exchanges celebrate community, experimentation, and the shared traditions of printmaking while connecting artists across styles, techniques, and locations.

How do I join?
Fill out the form below! There are only 50 spots available. First come, first serve.

What size should my print be?
All prints must be 8 x 10 inches.

When are prints due?

How much does it cost to participate?

The fee helps cover:

Custom exchange boxes/packaging
Coordination and administration
Organizational and festival-related costs

Pick up their portfolio after the festival, or
Have it mailed to them for an additional shipping fee

The mission is simple: to make print visible and accessible, as well as show how varied print techniques can be. Longtime artists or those encountering printmaking for the first time will all find something of interest at Northwest Print Jam.

The festival is designed to invite people into the process, showing not only finished work, but how it’s made and why it matters. Across the weekend, attendees will be able to take part in pop-up gallery exhibitions, hands-on demonstrations, workshops, and conversations with artists actively shaping the field.

Christine Martin is a Butte, Montana–based artist and printmaker whose work blends surrealism with a critical lens on the environmental impacts of industry. She serves as Curator of the Clark Chateau Museum, organizes the Butte Art Walk, and plays an active role in strengthening the local arts community.

Northwest Print Jam (NW Print Jam) is a three-day festival celebrating printmaking. It aims to showcase the Northwest’s rich printmaking traditions while educating the audience about this multifaceted art form.

Join Us for this Inaugural Event
The Festival takes place September 18-20, and brings together artists, studios, and the broader creative community to share work, process, and ideas in an open, accessible environment.

Northwest Print Jam takes place in historic downtown Bremerton, centered on Quincy Square and Pacific Avenue. The area is home to local shops, restaurants, landmark theaters and galleries.

NW Print Jam is Pacific Northwest-focused, and draws participants from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Western Montana, and Northern California, alongside artists traveling in from across the country.
