How are you today? A question I hear all the time at the start of work meetings. We all have our routines for answering those questions, and I decided to be more honest about mine.

Not that I wasn't honest before, but the typical "I am good, how are you" doesn't always seem genuine. I have changed my answer to that question to "as good as I can be on this side of paradise."

What does that mean, though? I took the time to write down how I feel about that answer and why I can make that statement.

I turned all of that into this song, "On This Side of Paradise."

Please be blessed with this song. I pray that you feel how I do about being blessed to walk with Jesus, and if not, there has never been a time better than today to get that relationship right with him.

Putting this on Facebook first. Thank you to everybody who has messaged me and kept me encouraged these past couple of months. I will post to YouTube later today, and it is currently being prepared for publication on most streaming platforms within the next week or so.

As this year comes to a close and a new one begins, this hymn feels especially fitting.
