Kicking off Riverfest at Mariners’ Landing was Tenpenny Bounce playing their New Orleans style of jazz while kayakers were passing underneath them!

The 2026 Branford Riverfest kicked off with Patrick Gazda playing on the deck of New England Brewing Company, who sponsored the event.

Riverfest musicians and attendee, the Goodsell Marina site had to cancel the event for this afternoon. No music there today. I’m sorry for any inconvenience. Our other sites are unaffected by this change. ☮️💜🤘

G’morning Branford ☀️ it looks like a great day for outdoor music with no rain in the forecast until late tonight. Here are some final details before the inaugural Branford Riverfest kicks off at noon.

The sites hosting the public are all on Indian Neck Ave near Maple St, where there’s also an overflow parking lot. All 3 locations are easily walkable from there. They are:
Nellie’s Waterfront Bar & Grill, 50 Maple St, music 12-5;
Mariners’ Landing, 56 Maple St, music 12-5;
New England Brewing Co, 5 Indian Neck Ave, music 1-6.

A post yesterday about Goodsell Marina being open to public viewing was an error, they are hosting for their membership only. The general public will be turned away at the entrance.

Below is the final (if there’s such a thing), lineup & schedule. Enjoy this beautiful summer day overlooking the lovely Branford River!

Each site has ample parking, beautiful river views, and free music all afternoon! 🎸

IMPORTANT RIVERFEST ANNOUNCEMENT - PLEASE READ

Despite our best efforts to satisfy the insurance carrier requirements, we failed to gain coverage for participants on the river, and are forced to reduce the scale of the event.

Branford Riverfest is now a waterfront music event to be viewed from land with the Branford River in the background. Live music will go on as planned, without anyone needing to get wet!

Branford River Paddlesports and Paddle Pub CT operations are unchanged and will still accommodate renters or riders on the water.

Updates will be posted throughout the day with the revised lineup. ☮️💜🎸
