I’ve been running from being an artist the last few years. After years of being a full time artist, I fell out of love with the process. I told myself I’d start releasing new art when I could show up and paint with a happy heart. So here I am💗

Even when I tried to quit being an artist, it never left. Apparently I can’t give up something that’s woven into the way I see the world.

My brain is a wild, messy creative fire. After years of fighting that energy, I’ve finally learned to embrace it, even love it.

Instead of fighting the fire, I’ve chosen to paint because I love it. I’m showing up here to create a community of people who find meaning in beauty, nature, and the quiet wisdom that lives within both.

Thanks for being a part of the journey, I’m grateful for you.

I grew up with sisters and unfortunately we didn’t play with cap guns. I feel like I missed out on a whole lot of fun. Our dance routines were amazing though, so we have that going for us.

I always thought it would be so cool to be an artist who has a daily sketching practice. I was never that cool. This is my first attempt at Bic pen sketches and apparently this new habit takes time. So I’m learning to sit my butt down and realized that I really like this slow life…

I recently found this matchbook along with a bunch of other amazing random vintage items at an old cabin in Jackson Wyoming.

I might keep doing these and posting. And I might not. Enjoy it while it lasts;)
