It is with broken hearts that we extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Maverick Morris.
Maverick was more than an Ohio County Band alumnus. He was a trombone player, a leader, and a friend to so many current and former members of the Ohio County Band family. His life touched people throughout our program, and our hearts are hurting alongside everyone who loves him.
In times like these, words never seem to be enough. As a small way to support Maverick’s family during this incredibly difficult time, the Ohio County Band will be making a donation to the Maverick Morris Memorial Fund. Services will be held Saturday, October 17th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Greg Hillard presiding.
For now, we ask that you keep Maverick’s family, friends, and all those who love him in your thoughts and prayers. We are holding our band family a little closer during this time and remembering the life of a young man who meant so much to so many.
When words fail, music speaks.
Rest peacefully, Maverick. You will always be a part of the Ohio County Band family.
